I have tried EVERYTHING for constipation and this stuff is by far THE BEST stuff I have ever tried. It is seriously a freaking miracle drug. I thank god all the time that this stuff exists. Seriously. The grape magnesium citrate tastes EXACTLY like the lemon. It is SO sour. I definitely didn't see the sour flavor coming. BUT, despite the not-so-great taste, it is hands down the best laxative I've ever used ever. I constantly have irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. I take miralax and colace stool softener around the clock. Well the ONLY thing that's been effective immediately has been magnesium citrate. I drink it before bed and I wake up and am able to clear out the tank (lol) with zero effort or pain. I definitely have to go IMMEDIATELY when I wake up though. So I can't drink this if I'm gonna be anywhere but my own personal toilet. To keep me regular I drink about 1/4 a bottle of this stuff daily and it has seriously been a miracle worker.

I was advised to take this before my gastric bypass surgery. I might be biased since this was the only flavor I tried (I ended up needing to buy 2 bottles) but grape is absolutely the best! It tastes like a warm, melted grape slushie and the consistency is slightly thick. It could be partly because it's made with sodium but partly because of the flavoring syrup they add. Cherry, I had enough cherry medicine in my lifetime growing up that I did not want to dare try that. Lemon, I love lemon but IDK if that would've turned out well. For me, grape was definitely the best choice. I recommend this flavor and I also recommend this Equate brand because it's definitely the best value you'll find anywhere if you're ever needing some magnesium citrate.

I am having a colonospy, so i had to take this for part of my prep. I drank half the bottle. I did not like the taste at all. So you should have a coke or sprite ready as a chaser. The taste is extremely sour and just yuck. After i drank half the bottle, my stomach felt extremely full and bloated but not uncomfortable.. It took me about 2 hours and then this started working. This product works perfectly and will clean you out. Be prepared to have the bathroom free cause when it starts working....it is almost explosive. This is the next morning and it is still working. I gave this 5 stars for how perfect it works...but i would give it negative 5 for the extremely sour taste. But chasing it with a soda drink helped. i highly recommend this product.
