Good bulk size value and definitely works wonders for digestive health and proper bowel movements. Just needs a little sweetener added, I add iced tea mix.

This container was bulging on the bottom and when opened it had a bad order. We are going to return it. We buy it every month and this is the first time we got one like that.

The active ingredient in this product is the same psyllium husk fiber found in the national brand, albeit at a significant cost savings. Its efficacy is identical as well. What is different is its taste and smoothness after mixing, e.g. this product tends to lump up in water and requires more diligent and aggressive mixing techniques. I'd recommend purchasing the small 10 oz size and testing it yourself before committing to a larger size. National brand wins; however, if you're a member of America's largest chain of club stores I highly recommend their generic psyllium.

I find the Equate Multi-Health Daily Fiber be a high quality fiber that promotes regularity, and I have noticed that since I have been using this fiber that my cholesterol has went down considerably. It dissolves well in water, and has a nice taste; it tastes somewhat like Tang and orange juice, and it is delightful to have a glass of this in the morning. I like to blend it with crushed ice in my blender, and it makes a very nice morning beverage with my breakfast, or it makes a refreshing afternoon drink after a weight lifting session. I also blend it into smoothies and such, and it gives my smoothies a nice and thick consistency. This is a very high quality product, and it is the less than half the price of Metamucil, but it has a better taste than Metamucil. I would highly recommend this product. Thank goodness that Walmart provides high quality and affordable products like this.
