Great product for the price. Easy to assemble, light weight and collapses easily to fit in the trunk of my car. Only issue to be aware of is there are only hand brakes, unlike a traditional wheelchair where brakes can be locked. You have to hold the hand brakes so the occupant can get up without moving the chair.

Lightweight and sturdy! Easy to maneuver around in this transport chair! I would definitely recommend this chair to anyone who needs the freedom to get out and about has a caregiver who can push them around. Was easy to set up and even easier to push. Definitely worth the money!!!

The Equate Transportation Chair is a wonderful choice for anyone who needs simple transport. It is super durable with a powder coated steel frame with a weight capacity of 300 lbs. The chair has loop-style breaks that are so easy to use and have a quick reaction for safety. A super bonus with this chair is that it has restaurant style arms to make it easy to scootch close to tables or desks. When it is not in use you can simply fold it and store it. This chair is great!

When I received the chair I was going to wait on my husband to help me put it together but then I got impatient. It took me a bit to put together but it wasn't hard at all after I got everything unwrapped. It was packed very well. After I put it together I sat in it and it was very comfortable. I wish it was a tad bit bigger though. But it will fit a plus size person also but someone that is bigger it won't. But it's made that way so I can't complain. It's very sturdy. It's made very well. I like the way the handles fold down so you can put it in a vehicle or out of the way. The foot rests are a little flimsy but they do the job. Overall I think it's a good chair. I would recommend it to others.

My grandfather has suffered for many years with Rheumatoid Arthritis and has had a few surgeries. He currently has a Lightweight transporter wheelchair, however it is not light at all. It is a pain to load it up whenever he has an appointment. I am blown away with this Equate Transport Chair. It is easy to fold down. Easy to clean. Definitely lightweight and easy for my to get it I. The vehicle and out by my self. It is smooth to push. I love that is appears small, however it fits a great deal of weight. He is extremely happy with this transporter wheelchair and wouldn't change it for the world.
