Ethique Lime & Ginger Bodywash Bar 4.23 oz - (Pack of 6)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all of Ethique's bars of soap this one is by far my favorite. The formula is so silky and lathers very easily. I don't have any specific skin concerns, but this has made my skin feel so much more comfortable, soft and hydrated, and it definitely doesn't leave behind any tight-feeling residue like some other bars do. I just wish the scent was a little stronger and lingered on the skin longer, but all in all this is a great product!

It smells DELICIOUS! And it's as high-quality as any other soap by Ethique (which is to say, very high-quality). I'm thinking about trying a cream cleanser next winter, because this is a bit drying, but it's less drying than any other soap-based solid cleanser I've used, so still 5 stars. The slight drying effect is only relevant to my normal skin over the winter anyway. Overall, A+, will be buying it again.

I really love Ethique soap--I use it to wash and also for shaving my legs/underarms. I'm not sure how to describe this without making it sound strange, but it sort of leaves my skin feeling slick right after I lather it on, which makes my razor glide really easily (no more bottle of shaving cream/gel in my shower). It doesn't leave any kind of strange feeling or residue on my skin after the shower though. I think that it sort of smells like lime Jello--which has been making me crave some even though I haven't had any since I was a child.

This is good easy to use product that can either be applied directly to the skin or onto a shower sponge etc because it does lather enough. I wish that the scent was a little stronger but this is likely due to the natural ingredients creating a more subtle real scent and I think it's a little pricey for just a body wash. Although it will last a long time.

I love the body bars. They lather best with a loofah. I tried a lavender one a few months ago and recorded how many washes it did- 91 washes! At 9 dollars for a bar that is only 10 cents a wash! I love how the packaging is recyclable/compostable too.
