Evenflo All4One DLX All-In-One Convertible Car Seat with SensorSafe (Reefs Green)

I am highly scared of this car seat. I bought this car seat last year when my daughter was about 9 months. She is not 20 months and know how to unbuckle the chest piece with ease and know how to put It back together. There has been a couple times I looked at mirror to check to see if she is ok and her arms are out while the bottom middle is still latched. If a 20 month old is able to do this, this makes this a car seat a safety risk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this seat to test for the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was a little skeptical because it had a few bells-and-whistles type features, and I'm typically a no-frills mom. To my delight, the seat is extremely easy to navigate, even the SensorSafe technology that comes with it! I really love the idea of only needing one car seat ever, so this was a no-brainer for me. The fuss of constantly changing gear in and out is so stressful. My daughter is 17 months old at this writing, and even without the infant inserts, she is still comfortably nestled and protected in the seat the way she should be. She's even bigger than average, so for it to still be comfortable for her was a huge deal to us. The absolute coolest thing about this seat is the SensorSafe technology on the chest clip that connects via Bluetooth to an app on your phone. The app itself is super accessible and will alert you if the buckle is undone, if the temperature in the car is too high, or if you've walked too far away from the car (it will even alert other members of your family if you ignore three alerts—talk about thorough). The only issue that I've found is that the chest clip is a little easier to unfasten that other car seats I've used in the past, so my daughter has unfastened it a few times. I have to keep an eye on her through the rear view mirror (and of course, the app alerts me as well). One of the best parts of the seat is that there is an actual ratchet (pictured) to assist you in tightening down the seat. No need to put all your weight on the seat and wrestle it down as tight as you can get it, the ratchet takes care of that for you. This alone makes the seat worth its weight in gold. The seat is very well made and the price point is excellent for the only seat you'll ever need with tons of great features! Five stars!

Out of the box first thing I noticed was the very stylish design. Second thing is the heft. It’s a little weighty but that’s actually a good thing. Once installed it starts in place nicely unlike cheaper/lighter car seats we have owned in the past. Installation was quick and easy compared to other seats we have used. Use the LATCH system. Ratchets work nicely. Very sturdy. Takes up a good amount of space on the seat but truly looks like a throne for your child. Material looks quality and seems easy to clean. Two cup holders are a must for a car seat. Why any come with one I’ll never know. Buckles are solid, easy enough for a parent but your kid won’t remove easily. Love the fact this is a 4 stage convertible. It will grow with my child and I will not have to worry about it being outgrown or needing to purchase a new seat or booster down the road. Have not had the opportunity to try out the next stages but I expect them to fill our needs. My only complaint would be the packaging of the item. Seat arrives fully assembled yet unprotected by any packing material in a fairly thin cardboard box. Our box arrived damaged but luckily the seat was not. I could see others being not so fortunate.

The All4One DLX Kingsley 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is the best car seat I've seen. I'm only disappointed that I didn't know of this car seat sooner. Installing took less than 10min. The click in straps with ratcheting system is a game changer and saves the stress of making sure your car seat is secure enough. Adjusting the angle of the seat and straps were pretty easy as well. Quality of this is pretty superb so far. The material is soft and easy to clean. I'm about 2 weeks in and so far it seems to be pretty durable. Safety is key for keeping our little ones safe. The sensorsafe technology gives us parents an extra tool for ensuring our child receives the most protection. If you're looking for a car seat, this one is it!

I was able to try out some incredible features of the Evenflo All4One DLX Kingsley 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. The car seat was extremely easy to install due to the EasyClick LATCH system with the ratchet system. I was able to attach the car seat within 5 minutes and easily crank the EasyClick ratchet system to tighten the car seat to ensure it was secure. Being a mom to a two year old and a new infant, time isn't something I always have available; therefore, easy and quick is definitely a plus in my book. Safety is most important for me when looking for a car seat and second is how easy it is to install. A car seat isn't safe if it's not installed correctly; therefore, having the Evenflo ALL4One Car Seat really made it so easy to install and also gave me the peace of mind that my child is safe and secure in my vehicle. One of the features I was really excited to try out was the Sensorsafe tech and app this car seat provided. The SensorSafe tech is part of the chest clip on the car seat. It is made to instantly alert your phone when unsafe conditions are present such as the chest clip is unbuckled, surrounding temperatures are dangerous, the child is left alone in the car, or that the child has been sitting in the car for about two hours and that it's time for a break. So far the app is very easy to install and set-up on an Android device. The app is very accurate. It instantly alerted me when the chest clip was clipped in and I walked away from the vehicle. The displayed the temperature inside the car in the back. We haven't tested to see how accurate the temperature reading was. The only thing I didn't like about the app is that the notification for the child chest clip is always on display on my phone.. It will always display whether the child is “connected” (buckled) or “not connected” (unbuckled) . It never goes away unless I force close the app. Also, to use the app, location services always have to be on and the app suggested that you turn off battery saver mode for notifications to efficiently work. Other than that, I'm pretty impressed with the app. The Evenflo ALL4One Car Seat has a wide weight ( 4 -120 lbs) and height (17 - 57 inches) limit with a 10 year expiration date. This allows for your child to grow with this car seat. The car seat converts into a booster for when your child is older as well so you definitely can use it for the full 10 years until it's expired. One of the specs I loved is that the car seat is GREENGUARD Gold Certified. I always try to get things for my child that are chemical-free or at least low chemical emission and it makes me happy that I can truly trust that this car seat is made with quality and safety in mind. Furthermore, the seat covers are easily removable so I could wash it if it gets soiled. We all know that car seats will get dirty at some point in time. My two year old daughter was extremely excited to sit in the Evenflo ALL4One Car Seat because she liked the cup and snack holders the car seat has. Her current one doesn't have easy to reach cup holders. The snack tray attachment is neat because it has a slot for the snack cup and a small extension for her to put little snacks that she takes out of the snack cup. Once she sat in the car seat, it was so easy to adjust her headrest. All I had to do was press the lever on top and quickly adjust it. The only thing I didn't like about the car seat was the strap holder slits on the side of the seat that is used to hold the buckles out of the way when you put your child in the seat doesn't hold the buckle straps very well. The buckle kept slipping off the slit and falling back into the seat so you have to constantly move the straps out of the way while putting your child in the car seat. In conclusion, the Evenflo ALL4One Car Seat is very innovative and it's convertible features with a long expiration date allows for it to grow with your child without having you buy another car booster seat in the future. The app is useful to have, but it's not essential. What I love most is the easy installation and the EasyClick ratchet makes it easy to safely tighten the car seat properly. The only negative is that the car seat is more bulky than other car seats we've tried and that the buckle straps don't really sit in the side slits so it gets in the way when you try to put your child in the car. Besides those two points, I would definitely recommend the Evenflo All4One DLX Kingsley 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat.
