My daughter was born more than 2 months premature in a city about 75 miles away. She was in NICU on a feeding tube and because I could not make it everyday she was mainly given formula. I only had to pump about 2 ounces a day but I had to endure 2 hours of pain just to barely get that much. It is not as if a baby that small would be able to take in very much. She was only given 5cc's at a time. The pump barely worked (little suction) for the first 3 days then all of a sudden there was no suction at all. I contacted the company and they agreed to send a replacement within 10 business days. I finally got the replacement in 17 days so in the meantime my supply was diminishing. When I finally received the replacement, I tried to use it the first time but there was no suction at all. I was very disappointed and even more so when the woman (Kathy) I spoke to in the company's Customer Service Department told me that their product was not going to meet my needs. It was not as if I was pumping a gallon a day!!! I just needed a couple of ounces a day. I decided to send a complaint email and got a response from someone else that agreed to a refund within 4 - 8 weeks after receipt of the item along with the original purchase receipt. Well, I sent them a copy of the original receipt along with everything that came in the box (not even the complimentary package of pads was opened), a copy of the email exchange between the CSR and the receipt from the post office for having to mail back their horrible product. I can only assume that because I finally got a hold of a "real" Customer Service Representative, my refund made it here within 2 weeks. I'm not saying that the item went directly to her but I can only guess that sending the email exchange between the two of us that included the complaint of the rude CSR I spoke with on the phone had some kind of impact on resulting in a satisfactory return.

This pump is extremely uncomfortable and annoying. I desperately pumped for 4 hours to get only four oz's. Then realized that all the milk was seeping through the handheld part. And the worst part about this pump which was an unusual thing but i confirmed it by using it a couple times, It made a vague ringing sound that gave me the worst headaches. THE WORST PUMP EVER MADE.

This is the second pump that I have bought. My other pump lasted me through two kids and started me with my third. The handle is bulky, and when I put it together it always sounds like I am going to break it. When I am totally engorged my breasts do not fit in it well - and I do not have big breasts. It also takes a long time to empty one breast and with my other pump I could do both in the same amount of time.

I purchased this pump with the idea of occasional use. I used it once and it worked really well. I tried it for a second time and the suction on min and max was the exact same, which was lousy! I am very displeased with the product. I will be calling Evenflo to see how they plan to rectify the issue. I wish that I had spent the money and purchased a more expensive model, even for occasional use.
