Evenflo - Discovery 5 Infant Car Seat, Alpha Animals

We bought this car seat to use as an infant carrier only. We got a more deluxe model to use as a car seat. For our purposes, this carrier met all of our expectations. Our son even slept in it for the first few months of his life. I like the little animal design, too.

Before purchasing this carseat I read the online reviews. By those reviews I probably should not have purchased this carseat but I'm glad I did. Once I read the instruction book that came inside the box it was not hard at all to adjust the straps. It is a bit more difficult than I thought it needed to be but it was not awful to do. I recommend reading the directions and looking at the pictures and anyone can figure it out!!!!! Hope you decide to purchase this carseat :)

I recieved this car seat as a baby shower gift. I think it is great for the price. My son sat in it from Washington to Arizona and he loved it. He was only 1 month old at the time and he did awesome for such a long ride. I wish the canopy was a little better but like I said the price is right. :)

Just great product i can't find anything wrong and the reason of buying expensive ones, we had it for just over two weeks now, the first one we ordered through site to store was damaged before we even went to pick it up at the store, but after calling Walmart and complained the inconvenience we instead given a free gift card to use to buy another one with free one day express shipping! thats great customer service! way to go walmart... am a happy customer now:)

I was given this car seat for my baby. It is very reasonably priced car seat. I hate that it does not have the strap at the front of the seat to adjust how tight or loose the straps are on the baby. It is very difficult to tighten the straps on the baby. I find it needs to be adjusted depending on how many layers the baby has on( for example, a sweatshirt or sweater vs a onsie). It is not bad loosening the straps from the back, but god be with you if you've loosened too much and need to tighten it! We strongly considered spending the $$ to get a different car seat. We most likely will if we have more children.
