My husband installed this in the back of his box truck. He said it was very easy to install. We love the fact that it has covers on each side to prevent moisture and dust from getting into it. It's great to have the extra charge capability. Great product. Highly recommended!

I'm going to confess that I know next to nothing about electricity and wires and all that stuff, I just want it to work when I need it. So, I asked my brother, who is electrical savvy, to do the actual installation. As far as that goes he said it was fairly easy to do, though I will note that there were no instructions on the packaging so it helps if you already know what you are doing or get a little help like I did. The double outlet is not exactly plug-and-play so it does take some time and a little work for prep and to do the actual wiring. The outlet seems to be made of fairly sturdy materials. It's plain black in color so I can't exactly say it's pretty but it is functional and the double outlet is pretty handy for two devices or if you have a second person with you in the car. So far it's been in use pretty much every day over the last couple of weeks give or take. We've been out camping so it's been used mostly for cell phone charging and the like. We've plugged in an iPhone 6s and a Samsung Galaxy S9 and it's done the job just fine. Overall I'm pretty happy with the EverStart auxiliary dual outlet so far...

We received the everstart 12 volt dual power outlet. We did need the capacity to run more then 1 thing at a time. We did like that it has a cover that does keep dust n dirt out. Also moisture too. We have used this in different situations and it works very well. We use it mostly to charge cell phones and husbands spotlight. Its really handy as we can do both at the same time We considered the one outlet one but decided that 2 are better then one and we were right. I recommend this to everyone who is in need of more outlets. Seems we never have enough. It seems to be very durable and well made. Comes with all that is needed to get it going. If you need to replace or add power outlets in your vehicle, this is the solution. I thought it was to make a single cigarette lighter a dual outlet which it is not so I'm including a photo of the back. I gave it to someone who needed just this type of outlet to replace one and they said it worked perfectly and was very easy to install. Great for charging your cell phone and other devices in your vehicle.

First make sure you have a professional install this. Even though it's easy, it's best to have someone that knows what they are doing install it. It's a great product. If you are in need of extra ports this item is what you need. The package comes with everything you need to add it to your vehicle. Ports don't stick like others, fits nicely.
