When we purchased the manual treadmill, I was expecting it to be more "manual". Where I control the speed and incline of the treadmill. However that is not the case. The incline is steeper then expected - even at the highest setting it is steep. The belt is much looser than expected. There is no way to start off slow and go into a brisk walk. You have to immediately start off brisk or you fall right off. This product is very underwhelming in what we were hoping it would be. If we didn’t throw the box away, it would have been returned!

We were wanting a Magnetic/ manual treadmill that was cost-effective & served a simple purpose: allowed us to exercise - regardless of the weather outdoors.---This fit the bill! This treadmill was easily assembled (we actually laughed at a LOT of the previous reviews once we put ours together, as the assembly was quick & simple...with no bent, missing or upside-down parts) The treadmill isn't excessively noisy--a huge plus...and doesn't take up a great deal of space.

The treadmill itself works. However, when the box was opened on 2-2-2013 I discovered the following: instructions stated they are 6 bolts, there were only three. The knob to secure and hold the 'handle bars' close to the axis on the right sie just before the black cushion on the handle could not fit because it was bent. There were scratches on both sides of the treadmill causing me to wonder if this was a refurbrished machine or the product was damaged at the warehouse before ti was sent to the store. Suffice to say I was not a happy camper but perhaps might case was the exception.

Easy to set up and reall surprised me of the operation. I have congestive heart failur and need to get the heart pumping to remove the fluid build up. Allows me to work at my own pace without the hazards of idiots with Boom Box cars runningover you on the narrow streets in my area.

It is a workout just to keep the belt moving on a manual treadmill, which is fine for someone of normal physical capabilities. I like that with a manual treadmill, there should be little to go wrong. This one is heavy duty and there's very little assembly. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
