Great item. My problem wasn't with the item. It was with the shipping. I ordered 12. They mailed them individually. One stake in a huge bos with , l kid you not, over 300 air pillows cling wrap type packing fillers per box. My entire garage door driveway was blocked with these huge boxes. It took me 3 hours to open and break down all the boxes and air pillow packing material. The packing pillows alone filled 3 large garbage bags! Can we say - common sense needed by the packer. The garden stakes should have been wrapped together in one or two bundles and put into one large box. It cost more for s h than the items cost.

I used my steel fence to support my gourd tunnel. As of now it is holding the gourd tunnel quite well. I ordered an additional 2 sets. I used these around my fruit trees and they are sturdy and good and keep the deer away. It was very easy to install in the ground and even after a tornado they have not fallen. I would definitely recommend it.

These garden posts are very sturdy and will last forever!! Well made and easy to hammer into ground. They are too short for anything in my garden right now. Think would like the same post in 6' length. Will be able to use these 4' posts next year to support flowering peonies and other heavy flowering plants. I use large pots for peony plants and these posts work well with these.

These green painted posts are really solid and sturdy. They are perfect to stick in the ground and attach safety fence to in order to section off parts of our yard so the dog doesn't get through. It's a much less expensive solution than putting up fence boards.

Upon initial inspection, these posts are lightweight and I thought they might not hold up to the hard, dry Texas soil. I will admit that I had to water the post sites before installation to give them a fighting chance. It did take some real pounding to drive them into the ground, but these posts really held up well and did not bend and the top did not flatten too much under the impact. I was pleased with their performance and the many holes and hooks for attaching fencing or wire. I would definitely consider buying more of these for additional gardening areas.
