I loved this show growing up. I am so glad that it is on dvd. I got this for Christmas last year.

From my perspective, this series originally started out as family-oriented, but the moment it introduced the Urkel character I lost all respect for this series. I personally find the Urkel character to be highly offensive and to be a representation of an insulting and hurtful stereotype of a young person. Given all the problems of bullying going on in our schools, to take what I feel is an insulting and hurtful stereotype and present this to impressionable young children as part of the TGIF children's program lineup in the 1990s, to this day it makes me wonder how any caring person could think that is appropriate?

I bought this show for my 12 year old son. We love watching it together as a family, even with my 7-yr old. It's a clean show and very funny. It was also a great price and easy to buy online at Walmart.
