My biggest advice is to do the ship to store option otherwise when you have it delivered to your house the first when I received was damaged and poorly packaged as you will read in many other reviews but I had such an amazing experience when I had it shipped to the store he was in great condition the picture on the TV looks fantastic the set up was very easy and the value is tremendous I would definitely recommend this

This product was received in a plain brown cardboard box. It had no bubble wrap or cushioning. The screen was busted both at the bottom and at the top in the middle of the frame. Instead of refurbished it should have been listed as trash. I ordered the Vizio TV because it appeared to be a good buy. I really expected a good value and I received total disappointment. I had hoped that I might exchange it for another TV in the store but no such luck. I may shop online again but right now I feel it is a waste of time. This is more of a review of the shopping process than the product.

I was so looking forward to owning this tv. Unfortunately when hooked up it started displaying problems intermittently turning itself off and on. There were also problems with the sound, playing along, sound would suddenly disappear completely or be replaced with a squeal. Picture quality was nice but other problems were not nice. I returned it to wal mart the next day for a full refund.

the box had a u shape rip in the side. when we opened up the box and pulled out the tv, the screen was broken and cracked at the bottom. the pieces to the stand were just loose in the box, not wrapped at all and this is what broke the screen. we returned the tv and there were no more available at this special price so we had to go buy our tv from another retailer. we were very disappointed.

I read several tech site reviews before selecting this model. I was hesitant to buy refurbished because so many reviewers have complained about damage during shipping. I decided to take a chance but opted for site-to-store, hoping it would fare better, and I opened it at the store to confirm the screen wasn't significantly damaged. If damaged, I would have returned it immediately. Although it didn't come in a factory box, it was well protected and all parts were in perfect condition. Set-up was very easy, and the picture quality is outstanding. There's a very minor white spot (only a few pixels) near the middle of the screen, which is only noticeable when the black VIZIO intro screen shows at start-up. After several weeks of use, the only functional issue I've observed is that the TV occasionally gets stuck or unresponsive to the remote control when the internet connection is lost and a web app (e.g., Netflix) freezes. When it happens, turning off the TV and turning it back on has resolved the issue. It's unclear whether this is typical of new models or a symptom of a refurbished model. Since these inconveniences are so minor, the heavily discounted price for the refurbished model was well worth it. My family of 4 is very happy with the purchase! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great value.
