Because of the low price (compared to similar hedge trimmers), I was not expecting such an excellent product. The convertible function of switching from a hand held unit to using the pole extension was very simple to connect and operate. I'll probably use this hedge trimmer once or twice each year so there was no need for me to purchase the more expensive battery or gas powered units. Yes, I'm happy with the purchase and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

I am quite pleased with this hedge trimmer. I am not tall or terribly strong and I managed to reach the top of 12 foot tall trees with the help of a short step ladder. It cut really well. It is pretty heavy, as others have said, but I was able to manage since you are mostly holding it upright. The electric end was easy to remove and I found myself switching the pole off and on more often that I had expected since it was easy. Also pleased with the overall quality of the trimmer.

This trimmer works well and will help you reach hard-to-reach spots. But believe the reviews that say it is heavy. I am a man in my 30s, and I found it quite heavy to trim except in short spurts. If you have it extended all the way and are reaching out, it is heavy to hold and hard to handle precisely. You will tire quickly using this. It otherwise seems to work well.

Very good product, makes trimming tall bushes a trees much easier than dealing with a ladder. I wish it would extend out a bit further, but otherwise very well worth the price I paid.
