I got this game and it's sequel on my birthday, and I have not stopped playing it. The graphics are amazing, and the game play is excellent. If anyone loves a challenge, the bosses certainly are! Chapter 9 is the hardest to beat (in my opinion) so far. I am definitely looking forward to Final Fantasy XIV.

This is the game I got with my new PS3 and I haven't put it down since! The last time I played was Chrystal Chronicles on Gamecube, but this story line, graphics, and animations are the best! The storyline can be a lot to sit through at times when you just want to run around and play, but you can always skip it.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King may be PC games, but in my opinion, consoles systems are headed this way. The graphics on this game were ok but the rest was boring. In my opinion, it was like playing FF12 again, another game I ebayed. BC and WotLK have no real end game. You are not limited by the choices you make. You do not have to follow a set track. You can do anything you want to your gear or weapons or story you wish to make. Final Fantasy does not allow you to do anything but follow a set storyline and use what weapons given because if you dont, you fail. I was a long time player of FF games from FFII-FFX, but when Crusade came out, I stopped playing FF games. It opened my eyes. I only tried this and FF12 because of the history I had. In my opinion, a good game does not make you follow a set path. A good game has no end game....

If you are a FF follower, this game is unlike most of the other games. The battling system is different in that instead of using gambits or manually selecting different attacks there are various roles each character plays (healing, attacking, boosting, etc) that the user can mix and match. It is a great twist
