First Alert 1.9 Cubic-ft. Steel 1-hour Fire & Anti-theft Safe with Electronic Lock, 2118DF

The programming feature makes it very simple to do. The only issue, and it's one you obviously would expect, is that it is very heavy. I did pick it up and move it on my own, but I am a big man. It isn't easy to lift as it is very sleek and bulky and I had trouble getting my arms around it and finding a grip. That said, if I had that much trouble, I doubt anyone else plans on trying to carry this thing away without some serious help. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to someone else.

Safe is very strong and heavy, more room than I anticipated, and allowed me to eliminate 2 strong boxes full of papers and still have considerable room in the safe. Like the locking process and the backup in case you forget the code or something else happens. Overall feel like the price was reasonable and the product is perfect for our needs.

We love it! The safe was delivered promptly to our driveway. It was in perfect condition. It's heavy, but two of us got it up the stairs. Setup was easy. No problems with setting combination for safe. It holds all of our valuables, with room for more. Easy to operate. I'm glad our important documents are now safe in a fire resistant safe. Couldn't be more pleased!

not sure if it would pass the drop test,(higher than 10')but its roomy,fairly heavy,(150lbs)and easy to use. I installed in a small closet,then added hardwood strips,1 x 3's on the bottom,front and rear, between the rubber legs and safe,also bought longer bolts at the local hardware store(to attach wood and rubber legs),so that it will not come out of the closet unless you have a tool set to take it apart Between this and my burglar alarm, I feel a lot more comfortable,especially in this day and age Took longer than expected to recieve

after reviewing all different safe, we decided on this one based on prior reviews! this is a great safe with construction quality, value, and delivery! it's very heavy and it would not likely to be carried away by a single person. it cannot be screwed into the floor, only to a table, thus the added security of it attached is really not that great. we wanted the double safety with needing both the code and the key. we wished it would be both fire and water proof, but it is at least fire proof. very good size for a typical family safe. not a problem with packaging. thanks to all prior reviews of this issue, honeywell, and/or walmart must have resolved it. we purchased this during walmart's .97 delivery so it's comparable to amazon's free s/h on some of their safes. the fedex delivery man was a trooper! he tried not to cry when i told him it goes upstairs in the far back room. it wasn't, so he was able to find the humor!
