Battery Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display

Compact, simple to use, great value. First Alert makes great fire/smoke and CO detectors. Have had several in my life. All worked great. I needed this one to be battery operated due to location with no outlet close so was perfecct.

Advertised easy to monitor CO levels but the procedure seems complicated to get actual readings to display.

Nice to be able to move it to different locations throughout the house. I left it in the garage for a few days and it showed some activity which gives me some confidence that it was really working.

We use them in the Patrol cars and speed of delivery and ease of ordering are a primary reason why we buy from Walmart.

Read prior ratings about issues with the door breaking, so I was careful in opening and closing it when installing the batteries. Could see where if you used force it might break. Tested correctly when the City came to do their inspection and my permit got signed off of. Hopefully my house will never fill with Carbon Monoxide to find out how well it really works.
