Hav not used it. I put it in the upstairs bedroom. I hope I never have to use t, but if I do, it's here and I feel more secure in case of a fire. Quite heavy in the box. Have not taken it out of the box yet. Just received it yesterday.
Living in a two story house causes a lot of worry about fires. My wife has lived through one fire where not everyone made it out, so these ladders were a must. I put one under each upstairs window.
This ladder was perfect for what we needed it for. We live in a townhouse and there is no emergency exist upstairs. We bought this ladder to keep on hand in case of a house fire, intruder etc. It mounts perfectly onto our window seal.
I purchased these for my son and daughter-in-law when they moved into a 2-story home. They are well constructed and fit under the bed for easy access. I hope that they NEVER use them, but it gives me peace of mind to know that they have them in case of an emergency.
This is something that I hope I never use. Just knowing it's there gives me piece of mind with all the apt fires happening here lately
