First Alert MT1 Take Home Mold Detection Test Kit

Do you have to sent ALL 9 stripes in to the lab or can you just send stripe(s) of area(s) of you home you feel as the problem. A mold smell is coming from my AC in my apartment and the top soil on my plants are turning white. I'm sure it's mold, but I want check it out before I make this big move out of here, and if I can't I'm still out of here. A silent killer!

This was a great product! You do the sampling yourself then send it off to the lab. We received a very detailed report back with what molds were found in the house. Would defiantly use this product again!

There are two different types of mold kits available on Walmart.com. I first purchased the cheaper kit at $8.45 but they wanted $20.00 per sample sent in so I returned that one and bought this one due to everyone saying it was $10.00 per sample sent in. Well, I received kit today which clearly states that each sample mailed in is $15.00. It takes 5-7 days to receive results and the lab is: National institute for occupational safety and health certified mold testing lab. Also known has- Alpha Energy Labs. **I just wish this information was noted in description n that consumers info. Was correct.
