my baby was only a little over 7 1/2 lbs when i TRIED to use the sling. it was hard to get on because i had the straps tightened all the way. i finally got it on and noticed my baby was screaming it's head off because the it's back was hitting the corner of the seat ledge. i dont remember what the weight limit is for the sling, but i seriously doubt it's less than 7 1/2 lbs! now i don't need the sling, but the seat sticks up so high that baby's body is so far out of the water which makes it impossible to stay warm. i already bought the thing so i'm not getting rid of it just yet. i guess i'll try again during toddler size, but as for now, i despise this tub.

Although this bath is a bit pricy, we got great use out of it until our son was 6 months old. By then he moved and slipped around way too much. It has great colors and my son loves to play with all the cups and attachments that come with it. The only downside we found was that we hardly used the detachable cloth seat and pillow because the hard plastic piece that seperates each side of the bath would poke him in the back.

We registered for this tub and received it at one of my showers. It worked GREAT when our baby fit in the sling, and he actually fit in the swing until he was about four months old (which according to the reviews babies don't fit for very long). Our son weighed 9lbs when he was born and we used the sling until he was about 15-16 lbs without a problem, we never had a problem with the sling stinking (I've read a few reviewers had that problem) and we didn't have a problem with the plastic piece that's actually inside the tub leaving a red mark or even coming close to his back. The only problem we have is now, a wiggle worm and a smooth plastic tub don't mix. It takes two of us to bath him in this tub, he is all over the place. He is too big to sit in the "seat" part of the big tub, but too small to sit at the other end :(

I bought this tub for my baby before she was born and she is now 15 months and still uses it. The baby hammock was great when she was small and made giving her a bath easier. She loves all the toys. I couldn't recommend it more. My baby is getting to the point were she is getting to big for it but won't take a bath without it.

I have been using this tub for about a month now and am pretty happy with it. It comes in very handy for baths for my newborn. The only complaint I have is that that net/hammock isn't very sturdy. I have to hold my baby's head up while bathing her because the hammock isn't sturdy enough. Other than that, the tub is great.
