Fisher Price Baby Papasan Cradle Swing

My son is one month old and enjoys his time in this swing a great deal. He recently discovered the mirror and just love looking at the reflection. I don't like the toys that spin above him. They are bland, don't always work correctly, and cannot be moved out of the way to lift the baby from the swing. I also wish the seat would sit up as he learns to support himself more.

I have had this swing for almost 5 mos now and must say that it is a complete lifesaver and well worth the price tag. My baby loves the mobile and the mirror. When he was little and didn't want to go to sleep all we had to do was put him in the swing and within a few minutes he was out. Even now if he is sleepy we just place him in it and turn the mobile on and he passes out. I love how it lays almost flat for younger babies, it really swaddles them, it sits up pretty high for when they get bigger too. It really hasn't been that bad on batteries, we have only had to replace them 3 or 4 times so far. I put the swing together by myself when I was almost due and it was pretty easy. The only thing that I don't like is that it is hard to get the activity bar on and off, that being said we usually just leave it off.

We bought this product when I was pregnant with my first son, though it had just came out and the price was more than now. Now that I have my second, it was well worth every penny. My newborn loves it and enjoys every minute. He sleeps like an angel. He prefers the music and natural sounds and loves to watch the mobile. I definitely love the fact that you can lay the seat more so that a newborn doesn't fall over. It was easy to put together and remove for easy storing. I will have to sell do to us moving but will definitely purchase another in the future.

I bought the swing when my little guy was 3 weeks, the first three weeks he always wanted to be held. Once I got this swing I was able to shower again with out running out to a screaming baby. He loves to look at himself in the mirror, he lays there for up to 45 mins just enjoying life!

In our house we have dubbed this the "magic swing". If all else fails and our son NEEDS to sleep, this works like a charm. He has enjoyed it from the day we brought him home. (And he still likes it, eventhough he's almost 13 months and really too big to use it much anymore...) But we'll still use it about once a week to help get him settled for a nap. I like that it's sturdy, secure for him, has nice sound effects and blends easily with our living room decor.
