Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Spray 'n Lights Bath Whale

We've had this whale for 2.5 years and both of our sons have loved it. Today it finally stopped working but we were surprised to have it last so long with the very hard water in our home. We are considering purchasing another since our youngest just turned 1 and the 3 year old still loves it.

I was extremely excited for my daughter to use this for her first bath and it was a bust before we could even play with it. Like any typical person, I got so excited I threw away the box and never looked back. I put the batteries in and all it did was float... The spout was flashing but no water was coming out. My daughter luckly had some rubber ducks to keep her occupied but I was extremely upset. The store did not allow me to return this because I did not have the receipt or box. And it was the same person that sold me the toy. I want a new toy please. I buy plenty of fisher price items and I love them but this was a burn!

We received this cute gift at my baby's first birthday party. I was really excited about it. This was the first gift we opened and used. The first couple of times it works great. Lights up and sprays water as well as floats around the tub. He LOVED it. To turn it on you are just supposed to tap the top of the toy and tap again to stop it. Well, now it works when it wants to and most of the time when it wants to is when it's alone in the bathroom and OUT of the water. The random "whirring" noise startled me a few times. It doesn't work when we want it to. This toy is going back to the store.

Received the whale as a gift for my two sons. Putting the batteries in was difficult. It never worked right. The light came on, made a motor running noise, then nothing. We have other bath toys that blow bubbles and make noise, they work great. My boys were very disappointed.

I bought this gift for my five month old daughter as part of her Easter gift. We just got around to using it this weekend as she is now starting to enjoy baths and be more active. After installing the batteries - nothing happened! I read the instruction manual and still is not working. For a toy that I thought would be wonderful, I am extremely disappointed! What a waste of money!
