Fisher-Price Dora the Explorer Window Surpise Dollhouse

My daughter loves her Dora house. We received it for Christmas when she was 2 1/2 and she still plays with it. She has 4 of the furniture sets and loves to arrange the furniture, Dora, Diego, the animals and Boots. My one complaint is that the furniture pieces are rather large for the "floor space" of the house and they keep falling off/out while my daughter plays with it.

My daughter received this dollhouse for her birthday from a family friend. I was disappointed to open the box and see that besides the dollhouse, only a small Dora doll and small plastic couch were included. It doesn't hold my kids' interest for long (ages 1 & 3 1/2). As you might imagine, the most interesting part of the house would be the moving seasons/time of day panels and lamp/fireplace that light up and because that's the most interesting thing, the batteries get used up quickly. Otherwise, without the extra furniture and accessories, there's really not much to do. FP really missed with this one. For the price, the additional furniture and other items should be included. I would not recommend this product unless your child is Dora's #1 fan.

What some reviewers said was certainly true for me. I bought this for my daughter and thought it was a tad expensive, but she loves Dora, so I went for it. I litterally had it out of the box for 10 minutes when the window in back malfunctioned. What a piece of junk! Don't buy it! I took it back and didn't bother trying another.

My granddaughter is a huge fan of Dora so giving her this dollhouse for Christmas was a huge success. The gift arrived in a timely manner without any damage or missing pieces and was very easy to assemble. My granddaughter is very happy with the dollhouse and I am delighted as well.

I really liked the dollhouse, and so did my 2 1/2 year old. Although she may still be a little too young to understand the seasons, she will grow into it. We love playing with the little dolls (I bought additional dolls after reading the reviews, thank you for that). I did know it came with only the Dora doll, but didn't think about not being able to play with it without enough characters. The first thing my daughter noticed was that Dora didn't have backpack. I haven't looked for one that goes with the house, but hopefully there is one. It's smaller than I expected, but I have no other choice. Oh well, all in all it is a fun toy and we enjoy playing with it. Oh, the front door keeps coming off. My daughter usually isn't rough with her toys, but I haven't witnessed her taking it off. Maybe a little flimsy??
