Fisher Price Light Sketcher

Great idea, but not a good buy. The drawing doesn't last long enough. My son couldn't press hard enough consistently to get a decent picture. Had to hold pen straight up and press hard - way too difficult for a child. After about a month of hardly using it at all, the pen tip didn't light up, although the rest of it did. We replaced the batteries and it still does not light up. Very annoying because it was a gift for Christmas and we cannot exchange or return it now. A complete waste of money.

My 4 y/o rec'd this for Christmas last year. He LOOOVES to draw...this did NOT keep his interest. Had more fun shining the amazingly and PAINFULLY bright LED pen light in his brothers eys. I think b/c there is no color (obviously) he was bored. Also aggrivated his art did not stay very long. Might be ok for a car trip...kids can draw w/ no clean up. Cards kept falling out. I think we have two left. Not impressed.

I bought this item for my 4-year-old daughter because she wanted it and it seem like a great toy, but I was really dissapointed. The pic fades away too fast that by the time she would be done with her drawing half of it would be gone already. To make matters worse, the light pen stopped working on the second day after use and since we had thrown the box away all we could do was call fisher price. Well they said they would send me a everything I needed to send it back and I would get a $30 goft certificate, but that never happened. Just save your money, and spend on a cheaper item but better quality like a Doodle Pro.

My 5 year old received this for a birthday gift. She's very interested in drawing with this product, but the pen does not light up or draw. We went to the store for an exchange, but the particular Wal-mart we went to did not have this product. We will probably get something else with the money

I would not recommend this product. My children love the magna doodle, so we thought this would be just as much fun. My children will pull it out for maybe 5 minutes and get bored with it. The drawings fade within secs. and the pictures don't show very well at all. I was very disappointed with this product. Just stick with the good old Magna Doodle.
