Fisher-Price Little People Play 'n Go Farm

I gave it to my 8 month old nephew for Christmas. His eyes opened wide when he saw it and grabbed for the little animals to play with. They are big enough so the infant cannot swallow them and he went for this toy repeatedly, even when surrounded by other new toys.

I don't know what happened, but when I first shopped for this the displayed picture was different. After getting it and looking at it in person, I almost didn't give it as a gift because it just seemed so cheap. I know it didn't cost much, but even so, the overall product just didn't seem worth the money...

I was a little disappointed when I opened the package (I had ordered from online). It wasn't really what I was expecting, but my little girl seems to enjoy it. She plays with it quite a bit with a little cottage and little people she got for Christmas this year. She is almost 2 yrs.

The barn is smaller than the one we "old people" remember, but the larger-sized animals and fence (which is much more stable than the original) are great improvements. Our one-year-old grandchild loves it (especially the carrying handle), and his dad had lots of memories to share when he saw it!

I was a little disappointed with the farm. I had the original farm growing up and I expected it to be similar to that. This was a VERY cheap version of the original. The original had doors that when opened made a "moo" noise, it had a chicken coop with chickens and various other animals. This farm has a cow and a sheep and that's it. It's my own fault for not reading the info on the product more closely. I just saw a picture of the original farm (that's how they adverstised it) and thought I was getting a new version of that. As long as you don't expect it to be like to original I think you'll like this. It's cute, easy to carry for a little one and fun to play with.
