Difficult to set up as the velcro tabs are too short. Mat detaches from the base when it is touched. Toys are not interesting or stimulating and are too high for playtime on the back. The price is low because the product is just cheaply made and not worth the money.

I bought this for my daughter at two months of age. She had been kicking and squirming since she was born. This toy will not even entertain her for a minute. She loves mirrored toys but will not play with this one. She can kick the ball, but doesn't care about it. It is flimsy and boring. I would not recommend to a friend. I should have bought the Bright Starts.

I read other reviews and should have listened to them, most of them said it was no good, it won't stay together ( the velcro) it really isn't durable for a baby. When my baby lays on it, she moves so much it all comes apart. I would NOT recommend this to anyone, it's expensive to me for what you get!!!!!!

My 5 week old really enjoys laying in the gym and playing. However, the first time we used this Christmas present from Grandma, the batteries in the musical fish died. The batteries included with the product are three specialty batteries that were a little difficult to find. They cost almost $5 each, that's about half the price of the toy! When I called customer service to complain, they offered to send me a $5 coupon for another toy. I defintely reommend buying a gym for an infant to play, make sure you look at the type of batteries it takes.

I have two kids. One is 5 months old and the other one is 2 1/2 yrs old. My 5 month old loves the ball and mirror. She loves to lay on her back and grab the ball or kick it. She likes the mirror when she is on her tummy. I like that the side folds up so you can attach the toys to something so the baby can look at something. It helps give the baby practice at pushing up to look at things. Also on another note my toddler likes to play with the fish and also crawl through the gym. He even takes the arms out and uses them as a sword, riding horse, etc. He comes up with many new things every day to use those with when his sister is not using the gym. Hope this helps.
