I absolutely love this baby play mat. The actual mat is so soft and has some padding to it. I enjoyed the fact that there were more loops than toys, so you can customize the layout to your baby's preference. I also liked the supportive tummy wedge that was included for when your baby has tummy time. I thought it was a brilliant idea to have the included toys help stimulate the 5 senses (example: the playing music, soft textures, the vanilla scented cloud). I received a complimentary Perfect Sense Deluxe Gym for testing purposes. My little one is one month old and this gym is perfect to grow with her. This gym is intended to engage all of the senses. It starts with a machine washable mat that has 9 different textures. There is also a pillow that allows for babies much needed tummy time. There are two arches that connect to the bottom of the mat and have ribbon tags to hang included toys. There is a mirror that attaches to the arch with Velcro closure. My girl is so curious of the mirror and looks at herself. The 5 hanging toys include a crinkle toy which has each month on it and can be used to take baby milestone photos which is very popular now days. There is a soft sloth toy that my baby enjoys grabbing at as she is just figuring out her hands. The musical otter plays 15 minutes of continuous music or can be pushed to play a quick tune. It's belly lights up when pushed and activates the music. It has multiple music options with an on/off switch and two volume levels. There is a soft cloud shape toy that is vanilla scented. Last is a leaf shaped teether. All these toys can be removed from the arch for play. The rings attached to each toy can easily be placed on the handle of babies car seat for on the go. I love the animal theme and that the colors are gender neutral. My little one enjoys looking around and this holds her interest. My first reaction to this was impressed. It has 5 hooked items to hang or place in various places, as well as a mirror that can be stuck above or even on the base of the pad. The tummy time pillow is adorable and can also be used when baby starts sitting up by being placed behind or on the side of baby. The pad itself is VERY soft where the llama is placed. The dimensions are 30"x32.5". Quite large enough for baby even as they begin to roll. My 4 month old loves rolling around on the pad trying to grab the different toys. The amount of loops on the pad and on the arms of the gym are perfect to place at different heights and areas. The cloud does smell like vanilla which is very interesting. It's very soft and plushy. The sloth lovey isn't as I expected but it's cute enough. It's literally like an unstuffed animal. The leaf is quite big but my baby easily grabs it, I only wish the color was a brighter green. The otter is my favorite, though it is quite heavy because it has a battery compartment and a music box. I like that the volume can be adjusted and the amount of music played. They are cute little nursery rhymes in music. The monthly milestone fold is crunchy and cute. My baby loves the crunchy toys so this is her favorite. The colors and shapes keep her attention and she likes the noise. It's easy to change the month to what your baby is for pictures etc. I love the concept and how large this is. It does tantalize all the senses which I find quite innovative. If I would change anything it would be some of the colors. I think the orange and blues are great as well as the contrasting stripes, but the green is pretty blah and I wish the red was brighter. I'd also change the sloth lovey. If the cloud has stuffing why can't the sloth? Not even much but to just make it cozier than empty cloth with the shape and the face of a sloth. I received this to test and review. I love the Fisher Price Perfect Sense Deluxe Gym. It is aesthetically pleasing in any room, and it does not look obnoxious like many other baby items. It is very soft and has many great toys for baby to look at, or reach up and touch. It keeps her captivated for very long periods of time. Setting the gym up was a breeze. I highly recommend.
