Bought this car for my daughter for Christmas. She is 5, but very tall for a 5 year old, and I worried that she would be too big for it. However, it is plenty big enough for her, with room to grow. Does great riding all over our lawn & driveway. Battery seems to last quite a long time, but it's been cold, so we've only driven it in short segments. My only complaint is that on Christmas morning while we were putting it together, the gas pedal was broken. I'm sure we could have sent it back for a new one, but what 5-year old wants to wait to get a new gas pedal in the mail before they drive their new car? Luckily, my husband is pretty handy with things like that, so he made a new metal pedal that won't be breaking, and it works great :)

When my tall 7 year old said she wanted an electronic car for Christmas I panicked! I thought they were just for 3 year olds! After reading many helpful reviews on the Fisher Price Power Wheels Dune racer I went for it. It does not disappoint. Unlike other reviews the dune racer arrived in good condition, box was not damaged or anything it was very well cared for. It also arrived two days earlier than promised! Thanks Walmart!! It took my husband about 1.5 hours to put it together, he said it was very easy, he had not issue whatsoever with it - he said everything was very clear and straightforward and he didn't have to struggle to make parts fit. The best news is it is large enough to hold our daughter and has a lot of power. She rode it all over our snow/ice covered driveway, - I thought for sure it would not go, but it did! (it was not deep snow by any means, but enough to make me wonder). I think the wheels are a big help they have a lot of tread to them. When she went off the driveway (after the snow melted) it did slow things down a bit, but we have very hilly property and I had not recharged the battery so it still exceeded my expectations because I kept thinking it would just quit. It is loud I will say that, but my daughter is soooo thrilled and is doing three point turns like a pro now :) Wonderful product, wonderful delivery, very, very happy child - get this for older/bigger kids, you won't be disappointed!!!

The build process was pretty straight forward. Didn't take long to put together. Stickers are eh. The major problem I have with vehicle is that shifter location. Its right over the leg so very easy to kick it when getting in and out. Seat is not adjustable so riders need to make adjustment. Plus items very wide frame so very little chance to tip over. Solid power for my 3 and 6 year old daughters to ride together. Plastic front tires have a slight bow to them not sure if its to make them look like a real dune race, but still wears the tires to one side. which the tread had some rubber to it. Runs on grass and road just fine. Batter last a good amount of time.

This was a Christmas gift. Great car for older kids. My daughter is 6 years old and she has a lot of fun driving it on the side walk and grass in the back yard. It has no problem going through sand, mud, and wooded areas.

I bought for my 3, almost 4 year old. She loves the dune buggie toy. It was pretty easy to put together and took a bit over an hour. The toy feels sturdy and works in our back yard well. It is easy to drive and even held my weight as I dorve out on christmas morning. My almost 4 year old (on the short side) does not quite reach the gas peddle and has to move forward in the seat. But it does not seem to stop her fun. It would be nice to have some sort of seat belts though.
