Fisher Price - Precious Planet Take Along Swing

I got this swing as a gift for my second son. I asked for this one because we have very little space and had a larger swing with our first son. My little one loved it, until it stopped swinging. Thought maybe it was the batteries and replaced them. Nope. I called Fisher Price and because it is still under warranty they are sending me a new motor. I will let you know what happens when I get that. If it fixes the problem long term, I can safely say I would at that point recommend this product to others...

I bought the swing to keep at the office for when I take my son to work with me. I put it together and it wouldn't swing at all. It played music, but nothing else. I took it back to the store and exchanged for another one. The second one will swing sometimes and only on the low speed. Now not even the music plays.

We love this product because we take it out of our living room every night so the animals don't mess with it, and it is really easy just to fold up and carry to another room, and very light weight. Cannot carry with one hand though. Mobile is not amusing, sounds/music is a little quiet. I'd suggest buying energizer rechargable C batteries for this product if you don't want to constantly be buying batteries. Ours last a while before having to recharge again. Our daughter loves this swing, and always sleeps in it during the day. We've stopped using the mobile because it doesn't amuse her at all, and only gets in the way when putting her in or taking her out.

I love my swing a few nights it really saved us when she wouldn't sleep anywhere else!! i like I can put it away I wish it would stay together better when it was folded it's a little clumsy. I am glad we went with this small swing verses the big ones for our very small rental house!!

I got this swing to help Quinn fall asleep, as the one my daughters had was so helpful for this. But, ithe never has been able to in this swing. The swing is comfy and cute. The head support is awesome for newborns. My older kids had one that had no neck support. I like how it is easy to carry around. The music it plays is pretty and volume adjustable. I wish it was a little louder actually. It has an adjustable speed as well--but it goes from extremely slow to moderately slow. My baby got this when he was 2 mos old, and he already needed it to swing faster--which is why he doesn't sleep in it--doesn't rock him quickly enough. Right now, it barely swings and the music now sounds like it's from a horror movie--probably because it needs new batteries. I'm hoping both clear up when I change batteries--which lasted a long time. The most boring part of it is that it has this mobile thing that has these two little animals that just hang there. They are too far away to be batted at, and they don't have a rattle to them or anything. So, I clip other toys to it. Quinn doesn't really care that much for the swing--but he'll sit in it for a few minutes at a time, for a change of pace. He likes the bouncy chair I got at a garage sale for $3 much better.
