Fisher Price Rainforest Portable Playard

I purchased this Rainforest Playard for my Son and his wife who are expecting my grandson in about a month. It was delivered to them and they have done nothing but rave about it. They love the ease of putting it together and the features it has. It was exactly what they had been wanting. I see many happy months ahead for my new grandson.

If I didn't purchase this, I would have to go up and down steps all day with my newborn. I have the rainforest bassinet upstairs and this all-in-one downstairs. I also really need somewhere to put the baby when I'm chasing my toddler. It claims to be portable, and even though it comes with a travel bag... It's way too big to tote around. All in all, its wonderful, and I LOVE the rainforest collection. I would give these as gifts!

Like the musical mobile and lights. My daughter couldn't seem to get it to work, but my husband was able to. The bassinette was almost impossible to install. My daughter slightly injured herself as we muscled it onto the top of the playard. But now that it's done, have to say that I really like it.

We got this as a baby shower gift, and I absolutly love it except............. The very first day we set it up and the mobile doesn't work?! Has this happened to anyone else? I wanted to take it back but my boyfriend said there's no point in taking the whole thing apart (first time set up is a little difficult) and back to the store just because the mobile doesn't turn......I have the rainforest swing and my son loves the turning mobile, but of course, I didn't take it back and now it's probably too late... other than that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the play yard. The music and lights are actually soothing to me too! Not annoying like some music can be!

This was bought for me by my brother and it was a life saver. My daughter was sleeping in our bed for her first two weeks of life since her crib is in another room and I am nursing, it was more more convienent at 2 a.m. With the play yard's bassinet it made an easy transition for me to get her at night and also have her close, but in her own bed. We still use it now and I love it!!
