My son is only 2 months old and is not yet reaching for the toys, but he enjoys laying and looking up at them. The older kids like to shake the rattle and spin the birdie for him and he seems to get a kick out of it. We are looking forward to him playing along and believe he will enjoy it for a long time.

I would not recommend this product. It was easy to setup but not worth its money. Your child may love this product, but mine didn't. She didn't lay 5 minutes till she was crying wanting up. I think the music was to low. The only thing that makes noise is the puppy. I thought when we bought this item online other things on this mat would make noise. I packaged it back up and took it back to walmart.

I was afraid it would have been too late to give my grandbaby this playmat, but he took to it right away! Even at 7 months and on the verge of crawling, he was fascinated with the toys hanging and the music from the detachable puppy. I love that most of the toys are detachable, so when he gets older he isn't missing out on the toys. I think this will be used for quite a while! Easy to put together too!

This is the second play gym we bought because the first was so awful. This one is a Godsend. My daughter absolutely loves it and it is such great quality. The best feature is that it will play music for a full 20 minutes before shutting off so you can lay your child down to "play" without constantly coming back to turn on the music. Definitely worth the money! The only problem I had was that my 4 year old kept trying to pick it up and one of the bars came loose.

I got this playmat because my son already has the doggie that matches it, and he seemed to like it. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and my son seems to enjoy the bright colors and the things hanging are cute too. I also liked that the little doggie had a mirror and could detach so I could use it sitting in the car or just holding it in front of him. It was a snap to put together, didn't even need to read the instructions really. It seems a little weak but for the price it is really a good product. I'd buy it again for a friend!
