Fisher-Price Soothe & Glow Rainbow Sound Machine with Lights & Music for Newborns and up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my niece and it is a great addition to her soothing / calming toys, but, as with anything, it only works for a while. She loves the colours and she is mesmerised by it which takes her from 100 down to 10 in terms of distress!

Cant honestly say its the best thing since sliced bread but the baby definitely did like the lights on the front. The sound is soft and repetitive. I just feel like it could be better if it did more rather than just another item on the table next to the cot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much more than a pretty light, it can be set to play instrumental songs, nature sounds or white noise. It also has a range of timers, 15, 30 and 45 minutes. The size of it makes it very portable, I can take it with me if we are away for a night or if my child is staying with grandparents. This would make a lovely new baby gift and it also suitable for older children who need help falling asleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice subtle light for babies rooms. The colours are calming and not too garish or in your face. The sound element is nice (not the most intuitive as I'm not sure there is an actually off button. You seem to have to change a setting and then not start the cycle of that sound/light). Which seems odd and I'm not sure why that basic functionality doesn't exist. Overall its a nice little device (although I'm really not keen on white noise!) I wouldn't rush out to buy this but it's decent quality, not too big and the sounds and lights are pleasant so it's perhaps a nice gift to somebody else.

You can choose from three settings; music, white noise or tropical sounds. The rainbow lights slowly turn off and there are more settings too. You can have it quiet or louder, it can be set for 15, 30 or 45 minutes too. Its such a lovely little night light to sooth any age child to sleep. I think, using it every night it could be heavy on battery usage but the upside is being able to place it anywhere safely as there's no cords or wires so it's safe to use around any aged child.
