Fisher Price - Sounds & Lights Monitor D

I bought this from another store because it was on clearance for half off. Its Firsher Price so I trusted it. When I plugged it in it was a lot of white noise on both channels. I moved it around the house to see if I got better reception but couldn't and when I moved into the kitchen it beeped to tell me I was too far. The kitchen is right below and a slight bit over from where the baby sleeps, so i know I wasn't more than 500 ft away. Taking it back first thing in the morning.

I thought I could trust the brand but it seems not. This product is not worth it. It doesn't detect signal although the distance between the receiver and the monitor is 2 steps. It beeps all day long, you can hear the statics sound at all time. Trust me I wish I did not throw the box right away; I would have returned it with no doubt. DON'T BUY IT

I can't get rid of the static, the volume dials don't seem to do anything, and it randomly beeps loudly. Imagine the heart attack when this is by your head and it starts beeping at 3 in the morning. I do like the night light feature and it works just as well wither it is plugged in or running on batteries. It just isn't worth it though. Thankfully Fisher Price is mailing me a refund and I will be purchasing a nicer, newer set of monitors.

I am expecting my first child soon and purchased this monitor for the price and because it was a fisher-price product. I tested it out this weekend with my young nieces. The beeping for no reason got old quick. The manual that came with the monitor had no mention of beeping what so ever and upon reading reviews, it seems to be a common problem. Very disappointed. How is a new mom supposed to get any sleep when the monitor wakes her and the baby up?

Got this monitor after purchasing & returning a couple of others after our 1st monitor that we loved started acting strange. At first, in our 900 sq. ft. apartment where our daughter was down a small hall from us, it did fine. now that we're in a 1000 sq. ft. mobile home & she's on the other end of the house from us, it makes loud & annoying beeping noises. also there's static & sometimes a buzz. I have 2 keep the parent base plugged in all the time or else it will die on me. I've been looking 4 a new monitor 4 sometime now & looks like from all the reviews I've read, I'm gonna try the Sony Babycall.
