got for grandson for birthday no place did it say anything about needing to lean against a wall. can't take apart to store. hard to get together sorry I bought it. could not return cause I bought early when I saw it and receipt expired or it WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED no empty wall so can't even play with it he was so disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The directions were awful. Got it put together by looking at the picture. The engine kept falling over as it went down the track. Got it to work better by adjusting the angle at which it leaned against the wall. The paint to the face of the engine that it picked up at the end of the ride was cute, and it worked! The house at the end was just a prop, so didn't put it back on when it came off. Grandson played with it quite a while, then came back to it the next day. We keep his toys here when he goes home. We get to see him a few days every couple of months. I think he will get more good out of it. He LOVES Thomas the train!

They paint that he gets splashed with is plastic and it is supposed to get stuck to him but it doesn't. It is flimsy.

After putting together the track it doesn't stamd on its own you have to prop it up it only comes with one train car and falls off the track every time not a good product

Not too easy to put parts together. Overall shaky. Kids had an expectation to play with it but kept falling down.
