Fiskars 28" PowerGear2 Lopper with UltraBlade Steel Blade for 3X More Power

So far they have lived up to my expectations. Had some brush that was starting to get out of hand around my equipment shed. These made quick work of that. Had some from another company that couldn't complete the task at hand. No problem for the fiskars.

These loppers are awesome. I used my neighbors once when I was clearing off her roof. They cut the tree limbs like butter! I bought these the very next day and they make cutting limbs so much easier. You don't have to squeeze like the Hulk to get the job done.

These are the most powerful and well-designed loppers that I have ever purchased, but since they are a little heavy for this lightweight 70-yr-old grandma to use above her head, I gave them as a gift to my brother-in-law. I hope he enjoys using them for many years to come. He has a very long driveway and the wild black raspberry canes are growing over the drive far enough to scratch the sides of vehicles. Time for some good loppers for Rob!

The lopper arrives with an easy to remove plastic cover over the blade. Removing the label was a little harder. The plastic ties used are not the easiest to remove. Be careful not to scratch the handle as you cut them off. The lopper has a heavy but weighted feel that is easy to hold. The handles and blade are metal, with just the tips of the handle being plastic. The parts move easily. It seems like a well built tool. I used this around my yard to cut branches that were overgrown. The looper cut through the branches like a knife through butter. On the thinner branches it was nothing. The thickest branch I cut was an inch and a half thick and it required minimal effort on my part. A wonderful tool that works as advertised. I would definitely recommend!

Lightweight, nice length loppers. Definitely more power than standard "non-geared" clippers of similar size. If trimming smaller branches the angle is not straight as in standard tool. No big deal but does make accuracy a little off. Great for larger branches and for sure expands the utility of this tool as can trim more sizes.
