These are quality scissors and they are sharp! They feel heavy, strong, and well-made from quality made steel. They boast a balanced design and I believe it! It cut through the ribbon like it was melted butter. Fisksar is my favorite brand of scissors and now these are my favorite scissors! I highly recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of these scissors! You can see in my picture that they're quite large. This has been great for cutting fabric for larger projects. They are also very sharp and the sharpness has held (though admittedly I haven't had them long enough to fully see how they withstand the test of time). While not ideal for smaller threads or projects (definitely not getting pulled out for my embroidery!), it works well for sewing and I'm very pleased.

I highly recommend them especially if you like to sew. Here I tried them on some socks that I'm going to use to make puppets. I highly recommend this scissors for all my crafty seamstresses.
