Just like the entire family.. Quality is Awesome, I assumed would be typical blue- in fact has a nice purple shade.. Aluminum, sturdy & measurements embossed ensuring marks remain indefinitely. Convenient punched hole accommodates hanging or 1 ring in notebook..

I love having a metal ruler. This one has a great edge height which helps with creating straight lines on paper. Includes inches, centimeters and millimeters along with a hole for hanging.

Fiskars 12 inch Blue Metallic Ruler is such a stylish and durable ruler, perfect for kids and older college kids! I love that this is made with metal that is bendable - which means perfectly straight lines! I strongly prefer this metal ruler over the older wooden ones that would splinter and lose their straight edge. I love that all the measurements are easy to read! My daughter loves to use it when she is coloring!

Soooo very, very happy with my Fiskars 12 in. Metallic Ruler! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be calling a ruler beautiful! Well! The Fiskars 12 in. Metallic Ruler, is not only functional, but it is made in a beautiful, light blue metallic color! Who would have thought?! Then there is the precision. The Fiskars 12 in. Metallic Ruler, has the inches, and centimeters perfectly calibrated, so that one knows the measurement is exactly correct! The numbers are in white, and easily visible. Another feature which to me is very important, is that the one inch at the beginning of the ruler, IS one inch! They begin at zero. Unlike all the rulers I have had in the past, that have empty space before the one inch marking. The Fiskars 12 in. Metallic Ruler, is made of a very sturdy metal. REALLY made to last (I think; "forever")!!! Truly, truly, I recommend the Fiskars 12 in. Metallic Ruler!

Love the metal as the plastic ones break and the wood ones are too high normally. This is great for ease of drawing lines as it sits close to the object that you are drawing a line on. I like that it has a hole on one end so we can hang it. My only issue was this is not flexible, it's metal and doesn't flex. In the description, it says it's flexible, but the one we received is not. We really wanted something a little flexible. If you do try to flex it, then it doesn't sit flat anymore, which causes your straight lines to be off when you want it sitting flat.
