Fiskars 22 In. Adjustable Hedge Shears

I'm not a gardener by trade nor am I enough to know what the difference is in gardening tools so I will give what impression I got from using this. I have a shrub that was way overdue on some trimming so I figure I give this a try. The lever system that it has really made the job fairly easy and quick. The one other I have used in the past was a bit more of struggle. The edge was sharp, has kept its edge and as long as its lubricated where it needs to be I see this lasting a while. My shrubs will hopefully will be trimmed more often.

This is a great tool to have for all your gardening needs. We have a few bushes in our front yard and 2 larger trees in our backyard. We typically use an electric trimmer but this shears works great for touch ups. It's lightweight but ver sharp and durable. It even cuts through thick branches with ease. I definitely recommend this product!

Received the Fiskars Hedge Shears, and am pleased to say that the operate very easy. The handles of these shears are coated with a bright color which makes them easy to find when in the tool box. It has a slip proof grip if your hands become wet. These shears are not power driven but are used by hand and this gives the operator a precise approach to the trimming process. You can pick out the growth that now needs a trim and not disturb the other parts of the plant. Spring is a time when I am trimming my plants of old growth, and prepare for the new spring growth. The main difference in these shears the that the movement acts like a gear movement, and is a smooth approach for the cutting. It takes very little strength to operate the shears and continue to give a clean and correct removal of old dead growth from the plants. I have found that a power tool is a great item, but there is no replacement of the hand tool for the correct removal of trimming so that the good is not removed with the bad. I have declining strength in my grip and find this tool a really good item for use and allows me to maintain my garden and not cause distress to me or my plants. This tool, the hedge shears are a needed item to all who have plants on the patio or a large landscaped yard. Ease of use and smooth operation is top of the line.

The Fiskars Power Gear Hedge Shears arrived in great condition. Packaging & Packing were in excellent form. The shears are of a nice weight. They are constructed very well. The handles are of a hard plastic over the metal handle. The handles have a nice size/thickness for gripping. The angle of which the handle to the blade protrudes is very nice. This makes trimming much easier with this angle approach. Also benefits the person trimming as it helps reduce stress & tension to the arms & back muscles. The blades are extremely strong & sharp. They cut through my box hedges easily. The sharp blades left a clean cut on the stems; stems were not raggedy. The box hedges will have healthy stems due to clean cut. I am an avid gardener. Great tools make great gardens! These Fiskars Hedge Shears are a hit!

I received these shears from the Spark Reviewer program. I really like them. They are comfortable to hold. They are lighter weight than some smaller ones I have which is really nice. My arms tend to tire fairly quickly when I use heavy shears, but not when I use these. These cut the smaller branches very easily and with little effort. The larger branches take more effort but that is true with any shears. They seem well-made and very durable. I have a huge yard with a gazillion bushes, so these will get a lot of use! They will my first choice to use.
