FLOWER Kiss Me Twice Lip & Cheek Chubby, Rosie Posie

I was sent the lip chubby in "think Pink". The item is made like a chapstick where you can twist the bottom to extend more of the product out of the protective shell. I like the thick shape of the pencil, it is easy to grip. The color applies easily and the color is very bright even with minimal product. "Think Pink" is a very bright pink color and it would be too bright for me for normal everyday use. I would also never use this color on my cheeks. The color is way too bright and unnatural. The product also applies on dry and does not blend well with my other makeup. In the future when if do use this product I would dab a small amount onto my lips for color and maybe blend it with another gloss so that my lips do no appear dry. I will say however that the color is pretty long lasting. Average product overall, which I might have liked better in another color.

I love the color on my lips but not very much on my cheeks. When I first applied it on my cheeks I thought it would look fantastic but when it started getting warm, it formed big circles on my face and I ended up looking like a clown. Maybe I was just busy at work and didn't have the chance to check my face in front of the mirror. Moreover, when I applied it on my lips, it felt rough at first but once it's on there for a minute, it feels smooth and very attractive. I try to use it everyday on my lips to give my other products a break and try something new. For those of you who's trying to save money but want to look sexy, I recommend this product!

I got the Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby in KM2 Think Pink. It is a bright cool pink and highly pigmented. A little goes a long way, especially for the cheeks. On Lips Up close, with the lip crayon on, the lipstick emphasizes the lines and wrinkles on my lips and has this powdery texture. Maybe wearing lip balm underneath would alleviate that, although I don’t like layering lip balm because of the hot, sticky texture. The round chubby shape of the lip/ cheek crayon makes it difficult to color in defined lines. The first time I applied the crayon directly to my lips and it was very difficult to color in the lines or touch each part of the lip evenly. The next time I used a q-tip, and it was much more even, smooth, less of a powdery look and easier to layer the color intensity as well as color in the lines. So, for lips, don’t use it directly from the crayon, use a lip brush or a q-tip. Blush On cheeks, the color is the same cool, pink shade as the lips. this crayon is very pigmented. A little goes a long way. I would just dab some onto my index finger and lightly press one, two three dots along where I’d like the color to focus on my cheeks on both sides and then blend in the pigment with three fingers. This way it can look flushed and natural. I really like using the blush/lip combination. It creates a very girly, runway doll look. It would be perfectly festive for Valentine’s Day.

This would be good for someone who doesn’t wear a whole lot of makeup but wants to make a statement (like a girl who’s just starting to wear makeup who wants something bright for a special occasion). This product is designed to be used as both a lipstick and a blush. It is quick and easy to apply but, due to the size of the “chubby” stick, it is not quite as easy to get the edges right where they’re supposed to be. The lipstick rubs off easily; if planning to wear it for more than a couple hours you’d probably want to bring it along to re-apply. For the “blush” function, it blends into the skin very easily, so it’s not difficult to get a natural-looking blush. The “chubby” is a thick cylinder, with a turn-to-advance sort of mechanism and a clear plastic cap. In my opinion, the chubby itself doesn’t look very sophisticated; I wouldn’t want to pull it out of my purse at a more formal occasion. The barcode sticker on the back is easy to remove; a second sticker underneath (ingredients list) is also easily removed and does not leave a sticky residue. In the Think Pink color, the lipstick is a bright pink. A couple dabs rubbed into the cheek for blush gives a smooth, slightly-rosy-cheeks appearance. According to the sticker, this product is “made in the USA” and not tested on animals.

I liked this product very much. The duality of being able to use it on your lips or cheeks is great! The tip is a little large for lips but I use a lip brush and that works perfectly. It is the perfect size for cheeks. Goes on smoothly and is easy to blend. I really liked this product.
