Flowtron BF215 Blacklight UV Replacement Bulb - 40W

This is my 2nd Flowtron programmable insect killer, the 1st one lasted about six years with one bulb change. Works very well. Love the auto on & off

I love this item! It is a replacement for another of similar details, but works much better. Seems the 'black light' attracts more efficiently than the old blue bulb. I sit and watch this from my deck, and it is almost constantly flashing another bug. Even the smaller ones are attracted and dealt with. I have a large property, and it is covered almost to the back fence. HIGHLY recommend this, the programming is just a bonus feature to me.

My only concern with this is just how big my electricity bill is going to be as it appears to be zapping critters almost non stop! I love the 'just run at night' feature. It was VERY easy to set up and is working well. Thoroughly recommend it, although I haven't had it long enough to comment on reliability over time, but it's great so far.

I like the timer system on the unit most. I haven't had it long so I don't know about the quality of the unit. The only problem I have had is with the area where you put the attractant. The attractant wouldn't stay in place and I had to use strips of duct tape to keep it in place. The old slogan for duct tape is holding true... The non clogging system has worked well.
