Maybe we got a defective toy, but when we took off the "remove before play" safety wheel several black pieces of plastic fell out as well. After putting the rip cord in it was difficult to pull and the wheel would not stay on the handle piece to launch. We're not sure what happened or what broke as we weren't able to figure out where the 5 tiny black pieces came from, but hopefully this was a fluke. There was a partially square piece that was half missing, a random shape of plastic and several tear drop shaped plastic pieces with a hole at the very bottom of the tear drop shape. Overall, I wouldn't trust this toy to more than a couple of days, even if you got a working version. We're returning this to Wal-Mart for a refund.

Both my 8 year old son and husband played with it for an hour straight. It is amazing how fast it goes! Also easy to use/set up that my son could use it himself.

He ripped it open the first challenge we had was getting it put together. It was a struggle putting it lightly. After what seemed like forever (most likely 15-20 min). He then went to play. It was kind of cool but still it seemed like a struggle working each time and he kind of lost interest fairly quickly. Overall cool product and might of been better if he had someone younger (or even his age) to play with. But for just him it was ok and he said it was a strong 3.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fly Wheels Launcher comes with two tires wheels, ripcord, launcher handle. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to completely remove the try me function, that was somewhat confusing removing. I found out quickly that the Fly Wheel Launcher is suited to be used outdoor as once its released that wheel takes off like a rocket and crashes into anything in its path. My eight year old Son had issues at first with pulling the ripcord, so the tire just landed a couple of inches in front of him those first few times he tried it. He got the hang of it rather quickly after that from watching his Dad and myself use it and realized what he was doing wrong, as it needed to be launched closer to the ground which he was not doing. We set up a makeshift ramp and lined up some larger toy trucks for him, so he can play with it in our large fenced in backyard as it goes a long distance and its easier to chase after it when its being contained.

I'll be honest, I was out to prove that wrong. No luck! This thing has some serious speed! My kids can't seem to put it down! We have a dirt hill in our backyard and when this thing took off and hit that hill.... What a launch! This thing got some serious air and distance. I went out and bought another one because I didn't want to share it with my kids. Lol
