I have to say that I got on all the websites and read about this bath seat. For what i wanted it for, it was exactly what I needed. I love this seat. Yes, it's not made out of the thickest plastic and it may look a little cheap, but there are tons of 'cheap' looking toys and things that we buy our kids. This seat is awesome! I really love it. And it even sticks to my textured floor!
bought for a friend whos son just turned one. she wanted something like this because he is a "squirmer" and was concerned with his safety. i found this and thought i would send it and hope for the best. she called me and told me that it was wonderful and works perfect! im very happy with it and glad that it was worth the money! it keeps him in place and isnt unstable, and he isnt "strapped" down. it merely keeps him from slipping and sliding all over and makes it easier for her to keep him safe while bathing him. he likes it too!
I bought this product for my 7 mth old granddaughter and now bathtime is such fun for her. I think she likes the feeling of independence and not having to have us hold onto her when she baths. It was definitely a good buy. We have already got our moneys worth out of it.
This baby bath seat was great for my son. He was leaning forward in the infant tub and sitting pretty well on his own, so we just needed something to keep him from falling over. He is enjoying reaching for toys and splashing the water. The only hard part is trying to clean the backside and lower front area, you have to lower front and lift him out to clean him thoroughly. I would recomment this for babies at the 6 month old range and up since they are trying to sit and move around at that stage, but not sturdy enough to control the balance.
My daughter is six-months-old. Too big for baby bathtub, too little for adult bathtub. This seat lets me put her in the "Big Bath Tub," while it keeps her from going under when trying to catch her toys. Postives: keeps her steady while in water, very easy setup and takedown, and she loves it! Negatives: does not suction to non-skid tub bottoms (if child leans one way so does the seat), must leave sitting up sideways to drain all the water from it, and have a slightly hard time reaching her bottom for cleaning/rinsing. I would recommend this to parents who need a steadying hand when bathing a squirming baby.
