Folgers Decaf Coffee, Ground Coffee, Classic Medium Roast, 11.3 Ounce Canister

I like this coffee, but from time to time it contains too much fine ground coffee dust. This dust clogs the filter, which causes grounds to overflow the filter and end up in the carafe. I know it's not a problem with the filters as I have tried different brands of filters and the dust (not grounds) clogs them also. I can only make 6 cups of coffee at a time in a 12 cup coffee maker or the basket overflows. I wish Folgers would limit the amount of coffee dust they package with their ground coffee. Or if they insist on unloading waste from the grinding machines on their customers, they should package the dust separately and label it accordingly to give consumers a choice as to whether or not they are willing to deal with clogged filters and grounds in their coffee. After all, the purpose of purchasing and using the filters is to separate the grounds from the coffee.

I had a stroke recently and switched to decaf to combat my hypertension. Now I was drinking terrible coffee at the long term facility I did Physical Therapy at, and returning home to this was a delightful, flavorful surprise. You can still wake up in the morning with decaf, even if you find a completely caffeine free one. Remember, you're also changing fory internal body temperature from a lower, sleep appropriate one to a waking one. So have a gentler start to your day.

After have a heart attack in August I was forced to switch to decaf coffee. Seeing as prior to my heart attack I always drank the Folgers Classic Medium Roast, I chose to buy this in decaf and I am glad that I did because I absolutely love it (I can't tell the difference from the regular coffee). My only disappointment is that it is not offered in the 51oz container as the regular coffee is. Perhaps that size can be added for the decaf coffee as well. *hint-hint* (I'm a coffee-holic and I need that size because I literally drink coffee all day long.) ;)

I like to have my coffee fix in the evenings but I can't handle the caffeine late in the day because it keeps me up at night so this Folgers Classic Decaf is the perfect way for me to satisfy my coffee needs. It tastes great. It's not super strong so it produces a great flavor. It tastes enough like regular coffee that I don't feel like I'm missing out when I drink coffee in the evenings.

Have had a heavy coffee consumption for about 70 years, three to six mugs per day, at home it was always Folgers. Have bladder control problems and read somewhere that caffeine might be contributing to the problem. I went to Folgers Decaf six to eight months ago. If it helps my bladder problem I don't know, but one thing is for sure I do not notice any difference in the taste.
