I had to try these because I'm on the computer all day for my job. They are very lightweight, so it doesn't put a lot of pressure on the bridge of my nose. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now and they seem to help with the blue light filter that blocks out 30% of the blue light. They are a comfortable fit on my face. My favorite feature is the hard case! I have so many old readers that are massively scratched or bent because I keep them in my purse. It's nice to have clear lenses! I would recommend these readers!
These glasses provided me with a clear view. I must admit that I have dropped them a couple of times since I had them, and they did not scratch the lens at all. Although the frame is plastic and bendable for adjustments, I would prefer metal. But I love these.
I'm over 65, require reading glasses, and spend a great deal of my time writing and reading on a computer screen. I often experience eye strain because of this. These Foster Grant Blue Light Readers should help me by blocking some of that damaging blue light. These reading glasses are very comfortable with only minor forward slip when I lower my chin. I've only owned these Glasses a few days but have noticed that I was not rubbing my eyes as much in the past few days. I plan to continue writing until forever; so, it certainly does not hurt to be cautious when it comes to taking care of my eyes.
I just received these glasses a few days ago They supposedly block blue light from a computer. I do not see any clue that this is happening. There is no blue coating on the glasses (I have seen other glasses like this and saw a light blue film). I do not detect any filtering going on. That said, they are very lightweight and comfortable (kind of a cheap plastic material). They are a solid one-piece molded pair of glasses, except for the handles, they are screwed on securely. I have not felt any difference in my viewing. Nothing appears with a blue tint at all. I don't think I had eye strain to begin with and while using these glasses I do not see any difference in my eye comfort, so I do not if they are even doing a good job or nothing at all. I wear contact lenses so I had to order a pair with the least magnification (+1.25) and that seems to work out fine - no distortion. Since I haven't had these glasses very long, I really do not know how well they are working, but they might be helping.
I use these as my backups to my script glasses. These are made way better than the pair I picked up a major drug store. Frames are sturdy, easy to tighten or loosing screws, nice spring action. I really like the rubberized feel of the frame, just wish I could have found something like this for my scripted readers. They do not slip down my nose and they are very light weight, nice carrying case also.
