Substandard quality. Weight is not as specified. Handle came unraveled after third match. Arrived scratched with used appearance. Would have returned but would have had to pay restocking fee. Not worth it.
This paddle feels nice but came scratched, it had what appeared to be a crack but it wasn't, I don't know if it was used but I bought it as new. I only kept it because I had signed up for a league and I only had this.
Not good paddle. Frame and wristband loose after one hour play... “What do you expect – you get what you pay for" $10...
It is a lighter weight pickle ball paddle which is what I was looking for.
When I started pickleball I bought this inexpensive aluminum Franklin paddle to learn with. Everyone uses composite paddles, so when I was sure I liked pickleball, I started looking for one. When I was buying balls I saw an Optima paddle that was a good price. The first time I used the paddle I noticed the outer gasket looked warped. The second time I noticed there was a hole in the grip tape, and it was starting to fall apart. I am glad that I bought the Franklin first. Otherwise I wouldn't have known, that there is a huge difference in the quality of their grips. I looked at some other paddles and noticed a lot of companies use the same cheap tape. I will only buy Franklin equipment now.
