For the money this paddle is well worth it. It may not last forever. The edging on it is of thin plastic, yet if you only play on weekends or less, it does the job beautifully. Why pay more? Just don't get mad and throw your paddle on the ground. I dont think it could withstand much of that kind of abuse.

After using this paddle 10 times the paddle broke at the grip. I cannot recommend this paddle or the manufacturer. I took the paddle apart to try to find out why the paddle was wobbly from the handle to find the handle was cracked under the leather binding and plastic handle. Poor quality stay away from this paddle, try something else.
