French's: Classic Yellow Mustard, 105 oz

I've been a loyal French's mustard customer for years, but their recent recipe change has completely ruined this classic condiment for me. The addition of canola oil has fundamentally altered both the taste and nutritional profile in unacceptable ways. The most glaring issue is the dramatic calorie increase - from 5 calories per teaspoon to 40 calories. That's an 800% increase! For those of us watching our intake, this makes French's no longer a guilt-free condiment option. But the nutritional changes aren't even the worst part. The texture is now completely wrong - it feels greasy and heavy instead of the clean, sharp consistency I expected from mustard. You can actually taste the oil, which overpowers the tangy mustard flavour that made French's distinctive in the first place. This feels like a classic case of fixing something that wasn't broken. The original formula worked perfectly for decades. Why mess with success? I'm extremely disappointed and will be switching to a different brand that hasn't compromised its product with unnecessary oil additives. Save your money and look elsewhere.
