These apples are usually crisp and sweet with a little bit of tartness in the end. Unfortunately, the bag of apples chosen for our pick up order was not good. EVERY apple in the bag was bruised in multiple spots and was not as flavorful as normal. It was clear that the Walmart pick up just grabbed whatever they saw first.
I enroll in Wlamart membership recently, and have made 3 orders. everytime i order apples in a bag, they are old and so.e half rotten. this time half of the strawberries were mildewy and mushy. i think more attention should be places on the produce department. Ultimatly the person in charge of the order is the main culprit. they just dont care.
The apples I ordered and received today are bad. 1 is so bad I had to throw it away. This is NOT the first time I ordered “Delivery” %26 produce has been bad, wrong item and/or expired. Third party pickers (Spark Drivers) may not be employed by Walmart, but they REPRESENT Walmart. So it's imperative that they should pay attention to correct UPC codes, expiration dates and quality.. just as well as Walmart PAID employees! As this isn't my first “poor quality” delivery regarding the “Fresh Produce” section, why hasn't Walmart done anything to correct issues? This delivery today obviously shows that the employees in Produce are NOT doing their job properly. They are not culling %26 sorting, throwing out bad/spoiled produce and definitely not following Quality Control. Has Walmart ever thought about “shaking” things up %26 moving someone to Produce that will actually do the job %26 do it correctly? You may find less negative reviews such as this 1. The Spark Drivers should be able to “grab %26 go”, as well as customers shopping in the stores. Also, Walmart needs to correct their online inventory. I order ONLY “In Store”, “Available Today”, “In Stock” items. Yet, NUMEROUS times, I received notifications that the item(s) I ordered are NOT available. Not in stock. It's FRUSTRATING. I don't have a dependable car at the moment, so I am somewhat forced to order online %26 delivery.
Usually the bagged apples are in pretty good shape, but not this time. I had my groceries delivered so I didnt choose the bag at the store. When I opened the bag, right on top were 3 visibly rotten apples. Like, a very dark moldy color, goo that was getting on the non-rotten apples, and just overall gross looking.
Because it was raining, I specifically said “ BAG all my products and deliver them to the back door”. Those Walmart store people and the delivery person didn't seem to bother to follow my instructions. After I complained about my foods being delivered on the dirty wet ground without bagging. The Walmart customer care person sent me an email today saying “all my stuff were delivered and nothing was missing”. Who said the products were missing? I guess they really have a bunch of crazy people working there. Are plastic bags too expensive that you can't use them even during a raining day?
