Fresh Step Odor Shield Scented Litter with the Power of Febreze, Clumping Cat Litter, 14 lb

This was the only litter they had at the store so I figured why not.... we have always used fresh step of some sort.This is the worse litter we have used. The dust is terrible.I agree with some reviews -you need a mask to change the litter box. There is a lot of dust in the room where the l.box is kept. The heavy perfume is ridiculous! After our cat uses her box she smells like the heavy perfume and it lingers for hours.Now we don't even want her on our lap due to the heavy perfume smell. Whatever she touches smells like that perfume! She has also started licking the fur off of her sides and her eyes are watering.The vet says she is allergic to the litter!I don't understand why they keep manufacturing this litter when they have other types that are much better. I noticed people have been complaining about this litter for 3 years now!! Also I wouldn't even say it clumps well. We now have to scrape it off of the sides of the litter box.

About 2 yrs ago I switched from Fresh Step because I had lots of odor problems, but nothing I've tried since then has been very good. I switched back a few months ago and I've been so happy with the results. I'm in an apartment so it's very difficult not to smell a litter box, but since I've switched back I couldn't be happier. A lot of times I don't even smell anything right after the cats have used the box. The only thing I don't like is that it's pretty dusty.

I would never use any other product because this one is that good, however the packaging is alot to be desired...Please Please!!! go back to the buckets...I love them...much easier to handle etc. and I use them for so many other things...they never go to waste.

We have 3 cats and 1 covered litter box. I have a large foyer, and it's the only room in the house I have enough space for the box. When we have people over, they never know that the litter box is right there in the corner because there is no odor at all when cleaned daily. I've tried many different litters, and this is the only one I buy now.

I agree! The bag is terribly engineered on the 42lb. bag, too awkward to lift, the tape is difficult to get off and twice the little red slider button came off. I have multiple cats and love fresh step as I never have any odor and need the larger quantity, that part I am pleased with. I know you are probably trying to be recycling conscious but please go back to the pail at least that had a sturdy handle to be able to pick it up easier.
