Frigidaire - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless steel

Have had the same issues as others with blown fuses over the short lifespan of this product - 4 years. This morning, was literally shocked when the microwave arced, blue light coming from the bottom, and it is dead dead dead now. Recommend against this product which has now proven dangerous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the microwave when it works.....when it works. I'm having the same problem as hundreds,or more, of other people are having. The microwave started tripping the 20 amp dedicated breaker everytime you opened the door, and now it has died completely. Have only been using it consistently for about 9 months. Have it installed in a 2018 camper but was never used until April of 2022. Disappointing but will have to look at different brands. Stinks when the other appliances are matching frigidaire.

Has recently begun tripping dedicated 20A breaker every time door is opened now. Also trips other dedicated 20A breakers when plugged in there, so problem isolated to this microwave. Sad that it didn't even last 5 years. From what I read, I'm lucky it lasted that long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My microwave came with the new home I brought, a year later after the warranty expired the microwave started to trip the circuit breaker. couldn't get it to work and the price to fix it is almost the cost of a new one. after looking on this site and seeing others have the same issue I refuse to get another exact brand. model FFMV1645TS

This brand new kitchen appliance was installed in our brand new house on Feb 2019. After only a few months, it started to have what looked like grease stains on the door. When I tried to clean it up, I noticed that the build up was actually inside the glass. In order to clean this, the door has to be taken apart. This appliance is supposed to be tightly sealed in order to avoid radioactive emission while cooking. It's mind boggling how the massive stain got in between the glass door on this appliance. Last night as I was cooking, I noticed heavy moisture built in the glass door and when I tried to wipe it off, bingo, it was actually inside the glass door. I do not recommend this product and hoping that Frigidaire will rectify this issue with a replacement to a new model.
