Frigidaire - 18.0 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator

We bought this a few days after Christmas and while it has a narrower (intended) footprint than our previous failed one, it still holds a considerable amount of food items. We love the reminder beep when we've left it open. For us, that's a great feature. Pleasantly surprised overall, based on the reasonable price we paid. Got new in Dec with new kitchen. Works great and veggie bin is perfect size and fruits and veggies stay fresh. Only down that it can be loud like we have an ice maker. Wish we did get ice maker. I like Fridgidaire products and would recommend [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have bought many of these refrigerators for apartments. At least two of them leaked (and they were brand new), and the service people had to come out. One of the service people told the tenant that this model has had a problem and many of them leak.

I purchased this product for an apartment complex and so far 1 out of every 3 units drips water from the freezer onto the top shelf. It has nothing to do with the freezer not working properly or the defroster. The chase between the freezer and refridgerator will ice up and then defrost causing water to pool constantly. I have been told there is no fix, just a bad design. I have since switched brands.

We bought this a little over 2 years ago. We immediately had an issue with the freezer sealing (as someone else mentioned) and our freezer contents were covered in ice. It was still under warrantee so we were able to have it remediated. Now barely 2 years later we are again having this issue; but do not have a protection plan so will have to already put money into this fridge for the same issue. Our old fridge (a different brand), still continues to run perfectly in our basement without ever having an issue.
